Costs and calculations of BZbike rentals
A one-time rental includes payment of the bike unlocking fee and the charge for rental time.
Fee and charge for one-time rental:
Regular bike:
Unlocking fee - 5₪
Charge per minute or partial minute: 0.45₪
Charge per minute or partial minute Fridays / holidays*: ₪0.6
Electric bike:
Unlocking fee - 6₪
Charge per minute or partial minute: 0.7₪
Charge per minute or partial minute Fridays / holidays*: ₪0.85
*From Friday / holiday eve at 14:00 until Saturday/end of the holiday at 19:00
Examples of total cost:
Bike unlocking fee (5₪) + 30 minutes of cycling on a regular pedal bike (30 X 0.45₪ = 13.5₪) = A total rental charge of 18.5₪
Bike unlocking fee (6₪) + 30 minutes of cycling on an electric bike (30 X 0.7₪ = 21₪) = A total rental charge of 27₪

Regular bikes – discounted bike unlocking fee and a separate charge for actual bike rental time
Electric bikes – discounted bike unlocking fee and a separate charge for actual bike rental time
